On Tuesday 5 December, ETT organised a tour of its modernised sheet metal work centre for all its employees.
More than 150 employees came to see the completion of this major modernisation project, which started in 2019.
This major investment was one of the ten winning investment projects in Brittany from the French “Fonds d’accélération Territoires” as part of the “France Relance” plan. This funding has enabled us to modernise our sheet metal work centre and increase our production volume to keep pace with our current growth.
Participants were able to understand the technological choices made by ETT and see the new machines in operation:
- 1 programming software TOPSOLID PUNCH
- 1 punching machine TRUMPF T5000 S12
- 2 press brake bending machines AMADA, the “4m HG”and the “3m HRB”
- 1 combined shearing machine and press brake DESCOMBES PRECIMECA
“A project like this is a team effort, with all the departments involved, as well as the suppliers. All aspects were taken into account to make the best choices” stresses Antoine Guenguant, our Methods Manager.
Alexandre PEUVERGNE from AMADA France and Sébastien LE BAUD from TRUMPF France were on hand to talk about the features of their products and answer questions.
